Shushkitew Collective is excited to be hosting its third gathering at the National Gallery of Canada August 10-13, 2023. The Gathering includes a series of evening events open to attendees and the public.

Thursday, August 10

Performance Showcase at the National Gallery of Canada. Presented as part of the Gallery’s Free Thursday Nights programming, the showcase begins in the Auditorium with Red River Métis-Michif dancer Victoria May and Métis musician and activist Tristen Durocher. After a brief intermission, the program continues in the Great Hall with a collaborative fashion show by renowned artists Jason Baerg (Ayimach_Horizons) and Melanie Monique Rose.

Auditorium doors open at 5:45 p.m. Showcase starts at 6 p.m.
